the sunset compression has been interesting for me here my first year on the west coast, as i&#039;m used to the loss of daylight being accompanied by devastating temperatures.  it&#039;s juuuuust starting to get cold and rotten wet here in vancouver, so i should keep mum and knock on all the wood i can find....</description>
