the sunset compression has been interesting for me here my first year on the west coast, as i'm used to the loss of daylight being accompanied by devastating temperatures.  it's juuuuust starting to get cold and rotten wet here in vancouver, so i should keep mum and knock on all the wood i can find....</description>
